POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to be the right hand to our General Manager (GM) in Tusayan, AZ. Someone who can actively lead our Customer Service and Tour Guide teams of up to 25 employees, ensuring quality operations, safe business practices and exceptional customer service at all levels. You will also support our GM in maintaining positive relations with local businesses, area partners and permitting agencies. Ideal candidates have prior management experience in the tourism or hospitality industry.

Requirements

  • Prior leadership experience
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and prioritize in a positive and productive manner
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
  • Position involves sitting for travel and office work, walking, and ability to move around the office to perform duties
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to use computers, phone systems, calculators, copiers and general office equipment
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • Must have a good Driving Record
  • Must be 25 years of age or older for driving responsibilities
  • Able to walk or hike on uneven terrain and stand for long periods

  • Tour Guide experience a plus
  • Ideal candidates have prior management experience in the tourism or hospitality industry.
