Job Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality standards are met. This role focuses on team leadership, employee engagement, process optimization, and adherence to budgetary guidelines to drive profitability and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience managing and developing employees .
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Proven track record of driving employee engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate and make decisions effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operations management.
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strategic thinking and business planning capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, Monday through Friday, starting around 10 AM, with rotating Saturdays and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Pharmacy operations experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Budget and expense management experience.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data.
  • Six Sigma training or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate activities within a highly automated central fill pharmacy.
  • Lead and develop a team of up to 2+ leads and 40+ pharmacy technicians.
  • Foster a positive work environment to maintain high employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and achieve service level and quality targets consistently.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues by addressing root causes.
  • Promote collaboration and teamwork across the central fill management team.
  • Ensure operations run efficiently with minimal waste.
  • Maintain and enforce current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization standards within the central fill facility.
