About The Position

Reporting to company ownership, the Operations Supervisor will ensure customer accounts are properly staffed, buildings are cleaned to standard, and clients remain highly satisfied. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong evening field presence and is not a traditional daytime office position. Approximately 90% of the work for this position occurs during evening hours, primarily Monday through Thursday and on Saturdays. The role includes on site supervision, inspections, supply coordination, and active participation in cleaning duties as needed. The right person will be organized, dependable, responsive, and comfortable leading in the field during non-traditional business hours.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in cleaning operations, facilities, hospitality, or service based supervision preferred
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold people accountable respectfully
  • Highly organized with strong follow through
  • Comfortable working independently and solving problems in real time
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable using technology, including email, apps, and documentation tools
  • Able to perform extended periods of physical cleaning work, including walking, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and being on your feet for several hours per shift

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support cleaning/janitorial staff across multiple customer locations
  • Perform approximately 20 to 25 hours of physical cleaning per week on average, with the ability to increase cleaning hours based on staffing needs and operational demand
  • Actively perform commercial cleaning duties as needed, including covering call offs, deep cleaning, and periodic building assignments
  • Provide last minute coverage for staffing shortages to ensure client commitments are met
  • Conduct building checks and quality inspections, ensuring standards are met
  • Assist with hiring support, onboarding, training, and coverage planning
  • Support scheduling and call offs, including coordinating coverage when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and operational updates for leadership
  • Assist with inventory coordination, supplies, and basic operational needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and efficiency
  • Participate in business development support as requested, with opportunity for additional earnings tied to results
  • Perform occasional after hours and weekend building checks to verify quality and address issues quickly
  • Other duties as assigned
