About The Position

Fosters teamwork environment for line employees while promoting a high degree of safety and customer service. Provides training for line technicians and fuel farm staff as requested. Ensures that all operations are conducted in accordance with company procedures as outlined in the Line Service Manual. Determines the daily priorities and assign duties to Line Technician staff to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of all services. Plans and organizes work, establish priorities to carry projects through to timely completion and meet emergency demands. Assists with the development and management of the Line Service Schedule. Processes customer complaints and inquiries. May be requested to supervise business activities with sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers. Inspects fuel vehicles, ground equipment, fuel storage facilities, hangars and other designated areas and communicate all maintenance, safety, or property issues to the applicable department. Administers and adheres to all Authority personnel policies and departmental affirmative action guidelines. Enforces FAA and Authority rules and regulations. Serves as Manager on Duty when managers are not on site Working knowledge of CFR139.321 regarding fuel farm management, quality control and safety. Obtain certification under CFR139.321, Training by National Air Transportation Foundation. Working knowledge of airline fuel standards from Air Transportation Association of America (ATA), Part 103. Familiar with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Part D1655. Performs de-icing. Performs snow removal. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Two years of leadership experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to follow instructions and the ability to work independently within a team environment, using own initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • FAA security and background investigation clearance, including fingerprinting.
  • Must accept shift work, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license required and maintained that meets insurance requirements.
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Able to regularly stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally must lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and able to be move within work area
  • Sufficient auditory ability and able to tolerate exposure to noise levels up to 120 decibels.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and able to use hands and fingers to handle tools, objects or controls.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Three years of FBO line service experience.
