Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates activities of production workers Interprets company policies and collective bargaining agreement Demonstrated commitment and enforcement of safe work practices Maintains time and production reports Coordinates with maintenance and other departments in Raynor Establishes or adjusts work procedure to meet production schedules Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product Suggests changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, and crew Knowledge, skills and abilities: Strong leadership skills Ability to work in a team environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Deals effectively with multiple internal/external customers of varying levels Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, foster teamwork, and supervise direct reports Knowledge and ability concerning specific machine capacity and capability issues Capable to increase manufacturing efficiencies through effective scheduling Knowledge of products specifications and BOM requirements Demonstrated proficiency in communication, self presentation and interpersonal skills Solid communication skills at all levels of the organization PC skills with experience in MS Office and knowledge and use of JD Edwards Core Values Deliver Service Be Positive Embrace Family Be a Team Player Show Integrity Have Grit
