DO & CO is currently seeking an Operation Supervisor to join its growing team. We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, inspirational team member here in Metro Detroit! Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years of supervisory experience within fresh food industry related sector (preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Hands-on approach and ability to react with a sense of urgency
  • Position requires ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
  • Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
  • Be a leader within your team and a team player

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role or experience within airside, aviation or FMCG (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations activities such as but not limited to transportation, logistics, dispatch and keep work area clean and presentable.
  • Supervise the processing time to avoid delays and lapses.
  • Ensure correct updating of the customer specifications in each consigned department
  • Motivate, train, schedule and assist flight coordinators and flight assemblers.
  • Distribute all incoming operational information to the affected departments and ensure the effective dispatch of all flights with accurate specifications.
  • Communicate with production departments to ensure that the exceptional DO & CO quality is maintained at its highest level with maximum efficiency in accordance with DO & CO standards as set by the Quality Assurance team and alert if challenges arise.
  • Build and maintain a healthy and professional working environment and ensure the provision of a positive and professional service that elevates the DO & CO reputation, and any highlighted problems have an implemented solution.
  • Effectively communicate clients needs and present DO & CO professionally.
  • Assist the operations manager in the implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures, ensure their consistent and compliant application.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules/regulations.
