Holman Powertrain has a great opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Indianapolis, IN! Manage warehouse resources and activities, and align with company’s objectives and targets Supervises warehouse staff, including work schedules, training, and performance management Ensures all health and safety requirements are met Ensures the security of the building and inventory Research, recommend, and implement cost reduction and improvement measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities Utilize the company designated freight solution to ship all product not delivered on a Holman truck Plans, organizes and controls the operation of the warehouse. Assigns work and manages inventory, including the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods. Create and audit daily work logs, daily labor, and billing reports Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. Plans, organizes and controls the operation of the warehouse. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in overseeing operations for distribution, supply chain, or warehouse.
  • Act upon performance information provided, coaching and guiding staff members to improve knowledge and skill where required
  • Able to organize warehouse to reach maximum efficiency
  • Able to plan driver routes, create work schedules, and manage warehouse inventory
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to explain company and warehouse processes and procedures
  • Understand MS Office
  • Forklift lift Experience
  • Pallet Jack Experience
  • Process/detail oriented
  • Problem solving regarding the inventory management and movement of goods
  • Identify risks with regards to OSHA and Hazmat compliance and communicate to the location Supervisor.
  • Must be able to pass a Background/Physical and Drug test per our pre-employment process.
