About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is an experienced leader responsible for managing a team of operational staff in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This role balances people leadership with operational performance, ensuring accountability, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement. The supervisor fosters collaboration across departments and promotes a culture of communication, integrity, and teamwork to support overall company success.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage performance, hold individuals accountable, and track results through KPIs.
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes in one or more areas (Production, Quality, Shipping, Inventory, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience leading teams in an operational environment is preferred but not required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Operations, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Leadership & Coaching - Inspires, motivates, and develops team members.
  • Accountability - Holds self and team members responsible for meeting expectations and KPIs.
  • Communication & Feedback - Provides clear, constructive, and timely communication.
  • KPI Tracking & Analysis - Monitors and interprets metrics to drive performance.
  • Process Improvement - Identifies and implements changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conflict Resolution - Addresses issues directly and constructively.
  • Technical Proficiency - ERP systems (NetSuite), Power BI, Excel, and standard MS Office tools (Word, Teams, Outlook).
  • Soft Traits - Adaptability, integrity, teamwork, detail orientation, and strong leadership presence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations and ensure established goals, standards, and KPIs are met.
  • Monitor compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and operational policies.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to drive accountability, skill growth, and engagement.
  • Track and analyze KPIs and operational metrics, reporting results and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Reallocate resources and adjust priorities to meet workload demands and maintain productivity.
  • Review and approve timesheets, time-off requests, and other employee-related documentation.
  • Issue corrective actions when performance, attendance, or policy issues arise.
  • Collaborate with all operational departments - including Production, Quality, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory - to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
