About The Position

The position involves managing overall workflows and coordinating work assignments within the Supply Chain Management department at Mayo Clinic. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including personnel-related issues such as recruitment, performance appraisals, staff development, scheduling, payroll, and addressing resource requirements. The individual will lead and participate in operational and technology projects, collaborating with both internal and external suppliers to enhance work processes. Additionally, the role includes consulting on procurement, payment processes, and vendor management, while also implementing solutions to improve financial and operational performance across Mayo Clinic and its sites. The position requires facilitating task forces to address Supply Chain Management issues and ensuring compliance with Mayo policies in procurement activities. The individual will also conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and improvements, manage procurement processes, and represent Mayo Clinic at industry conferences.

Requirements

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Ability to lead and participate in multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in financial reporting and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall workflows and work assignment coordination.

  • Contribute to supply chain integration and financial performance.
  • Make purchasing decisions and analyze purchasing data.
  • Represent Mayo Clinic at industry conferences.
