About The Position

The Operations Supervisor for Last Mile Deliveries is responsible for overseeing all site operations within a growing transportation and logistics company. This role focuses on managing staffing, driver recruitment, key performance indicators (KPIs), client relationships, and safety measures, ensuring efficient and safe delivery services.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Operations and Logistics experience in the Last/Final Mile Home Delivery field.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in the logistics sector.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced work environment.
• Previous dispatch supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in computer software systems, dispatching platforms, and Microsoft Office and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage morning load outs and returns process.
• Dispatch and schedule daily routes and deliveries.
• Support client expectations for all delivery services.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Carry out supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze workforce needs and recruit Independent Contractors.
• Assist client and customer service in investigations and resolutions to customer issues.
• Promote safety in the workplace by conducting safety audits and safety meetings.
• Initiate, implement, and oversee quality and service initiatives.
