About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in an Engineering discipline.
  • At least two years of Manufacturing Operations experience; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Supervisory experience is a must, three to five years is preferred.
  • Experience with sterile and non-sterile packaging of medical devices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and superior interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in highly skilled assembly and packaging processes is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, high energy and interest in process improvement.
  • Basic computer competencies, including spreadsheets and word processing as well as Outlook for e-mail use.
  • Additional proficiency with computer printers and/or label printing software would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all people and processes to meet the department safety goals, quality standards, and production schedules through the execution of daily leader standard work.
  • Work cross functionally with quality, engineering, IT and program management within the organization to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with various internal stakeholders, including other supervisors, to meet the specific requirements of each unique, individual client.
  • Plan, schedule, and direct the work of individual operators.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff to achieve cultural and performance standards.
  • Possess a general understanding of all areas within the organization and the ability to work with the experts within those areas.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
