About The Position

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking innovators, collaborators, and problem solvers for its Internship Program, which aims to cultivate future talent for the organization. The program offers experiential on-the-job learning, a dynamic environment, and access to business leaders. Interns will work on process improvement initiatives and collaborate with the plant’s leadership team in one of Avery Dennison's state-of-the-art facilities. The internship serves as a talent pipeline for the Early Careers Program in Operations and throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus on Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to travel 10 - 20 percent of the time

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship/co-op experience or relevant work experience
• Experience via student organizations such as Engineers without Borders, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Society of Chemical Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
• Volunteerism or similar activities

Responsibilities

• Identify and support process improvement opportunities
• Build project plans and lead/support projects to completion
• Assist plant leadership team and help implement plant initiatives
• Support cross-functional teams with special projects as required
