Overview Operations Staff will perform a multitude of tasks to setup, run, and breakdown of all needed seating, table, staging, equipment for events hosted at Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex. This role will pay an hourly wage of $10.00. For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Requirements

Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Must have ability to take/follow directions and remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
Strong attention to detail and follow through with a “can do” attitude.
The employee must frequently move and/or lift 50 lbs. (some heavier lifts are team lifts).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility, to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear.
This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.

Responsibilities

Assists with converting Arena from one function to another (i.e., basketball to concerts, theater, meetings, and other types of functions).
Assists with converting conference rooms from one function to another (i.e., conferences, banquets, meetings and other types of functions).
Follows directions of supervisors; sets up and breaks down stages, seating, tables, conference rooms, etc.
Performs light cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Follows all safety precautions and emergency procedures established at the facility.
Reports any safety and damage concerns to the Manager.
