Requirements

3+ years of industry experience as a Property Manager
High school diploma or GED
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat
Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with wide range of people
Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, understanding that your scheduled workdays may vary according to staffing and company needs

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience and understanding of Affordable Housing Programs (HUD Programs) is preferred
CRM, CAM, COS, or other related professional certification preferred.
Knowledge of Yardi and other Property Management software strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Acts as a Roving Property Manager by filling in at properties in the absence of a manager.
On assigned properties, directs the day-to-day activities of resident relations, maintenance, inspections, leasing, and other operations.
Assists in the hiring of new staff for assigned properties.
Supports properties on-site during openings and takeovers.
Conducts site visits and completes special projects.
Provides guidance and assistance to struggling properties, as assigned.
Maintains customer service and excellent relations with residents, resident cooperatives, commercial tenants, outside agencies or vendors and organizations.
Ensures compliance with company policy, real estate law and state/federal guidelines.
Out of state travel required on an as-needed basis.
Other duties as assigned.
