About The Position

The Operations Communication Specialist (Investment Research) manages the day-to-day operations of the Investment Research team; improving, documenting and updating processes and procedures, publishing investment guidance materials and assisting the Director, Research Strategy & Development on various tasks and their strategic initiatives. This is a hybrid role, candidates must be located in Dallas, TX or Des Moines, IA or St Cloud, MN. What you will do: Determine and publish content through the appropriate channel(s), (e.g. AdviceWorks, MarketingCentral, Cetera.com, social media, etc), following individual tasks through to completion. Leveraging expertise of compliance and industry knowledge to draft content for broad communications. Coordinate with Marketing and Compliance on the creation of disclosures and other content. Improve and update processes and procedures as they change for the Investment Research team. Secure approvals for communication materials according to company processes and guidelines. Assist the team in managing the third-party research platform Publish quarterly reports, analyses, presentations, and other research materials for advisors and their clients Manage menus and databases and serve as the first line of contact with advisors Proactively identify issues and solutions, and work collaboratively across business lines as needed to resolve Learn, use and support various financial products, software and systems Assist in other investment research and administrative activities as required What you need to have: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of individuals. Experienced in leveraging advanced features of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), PowerPoint (e.g., custom templates, animations), and Word (e.g., styles, formatting automation) to support strategic initiatives. “Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with simultaneous timelines and hard deadlines. Has desire to advance investment knowledge, (e.g. Series 7 or CFA) What is nice to have: Knowledge of the broker dealer operations. Knowledge of investment research regulatory guidelines. Travel Requirements: Up to 10%. Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $45,000 to $75,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations. #LI-Hybrid

Requirements
