About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Operations Specialist to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for researching, refining, and responding to various acquisition, operations, administrative, and programmatic taskers and data calls. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly grasp new concepts, manage multiple priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Finance/Accounting, Strategic Intelligence or related discipline.
  • TS/SCI w/ Poly
  • 3+ years related work experience
  • Experience providing administrative or operational support in a government or military environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience taking meeting minutes and synthesizing information into actionable summaries.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS) or similar government travel systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with Confluence, JIRA, ETMS2, and WMS.
  • US CYBERCOM experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage general officer–level meetings, including scheduling, agendas, read-aheads, and logistics
  • Attend meetings as required and take detailed, accurate minutes
  • Translate meeting minutes into clear talking points, action items, and deliverables for senior leaders and staff
  • Track decisions and follow-on actions to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate and manage all official travel for staff and leadership
  • Prepare, review, and submit travel authorizations and vouchers (on DTS)
  • Track, maintain, and update engagement requests on behalf of the Chief AI Officer
