About The Position
This posting is for Emporia, Kansas Weekend Shift - F/S/S 5:00am - 5:00pm We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting production by managing warehouse functions, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The shag driver operates a shag tractor to transport loaded and unloaded trailers to assigned areas on the property of Norfolk Iron & Metal and/or to the truck maintenance department. Secure the loads for safety during transportation and around the yard. The shag operator axles and weighs all loads and tarp loads as needed and keeps the yard free of debris, tarps and dunnage.
Requirements
- Must pass drug test
