The Operations Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for supervising a shift team of operators at the PALNG liquefied natural gas (LNG) site. The Operations Supervisor is a member of the operations leadership team works across functions at the site to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The Operations Supervisor position requires participation in Simultaneous operations (SIMOP) reviews and work activities task-based risk assessments. The Operations Supervisor will schedule meetings for the coordination and approval for future Maintenance work activities. Participate in daily strategy planning with Production management and work to overcome the limitations and deficiencies to assure targets are met. Provide technical support to problem-solving activities during the shift and ensure reliability issues are identified and properly communicated to the appropriate department. Will also ensure that the plant operates within the safe operating envelopes, ensuring proper transfer of ownership of equipment between Operations and Maintenance, and determining and prioritizing maintenance requirements and write associated work orders. Promotes safety and environmental compliance at all times by ensuring that all safety and environmental policies and procedures are developed and enforced. Communicates and interacts with all the plant departments, plus consult with external resources to resolve plant problems, and improve plant reliability and safety. Manages the development, review and updates to the site Operating Manuals and procedures. A major function includes the training and evaluation of personnel in line with role-based needs, which include development of key technical skills required to operate the facility and knowledge around Regulatory and Statutory laws and Company policies. The role requires enforcing and execution of key Production related systems inclThis position will be located in Port Arthur, Texas and is a shift based position requiring nonstandard working hours in order for the operations team to provide 24/7 coverage. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required.uding the Operations Training Simulator, shift handover, car seal registers, and control of work systems.
