QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Operations Security Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA to support our HQDA G-3/5/7 Support Services contract. Duties: Provide subject matter expertise guidance on the integration of OPSEC with IA, Cyberspace Operations, and other information advantage activities. Review OSD, Joint and other DoD OPSEC plans and policy. Independently investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, and help the Government to implement and evaluate OPSEC issues and programs throughout the Army, DoD and Joint OPSEC projects and program initiatives and provide recommendations based on reviews. Assist the Government in preparing briefings, information or decision papers, policy documents, staffing packages, letters, EXORDS, and memorandums related to Army strategy, concepts, doctrine, and policy for OPSEC. Assist the Government in developing written guidance for Army organizations to meet annual OPSEC reporting requirements. Assist the workforce with training and resource requirements. Provide recommendations to ensure the Army’s OPSEC policy and doctrine are compliant with OSD and Joint policy. Ensure all material posted to the internet and external official presence sites are approved by the Public Affairs Officers, Director of Information Management (DOIM)/CIO G6 officials, and web masters for OPSEC compliance. Prepare updates to AR 530-1 (OPSEC), and AR 530-1 (OPSEC) Appendix I Annual OPSEC Report submission. Make changes to documents based on adjudicated comments, prepare documents in publication-ready format and track documents through Army Publication Directorate process for timely publication. Prepare documentation for the Army Annual OPSEC Awards submissions, updates, and publication of directives; maintain files for all DAMO-SOI programs; and create and maintain a section turn-over file. Schedule rooms, VTC sessions, maintain contact lists, and disseminate notifications, agendas, and read-ahead packages for all meetings and conferences. Draft briefings, information/decision papers, policy documents, staffing packages, EXORDS, letters, and memorandums related to OPSEC issues. Study national policy and recommend inputs to national strategy for senior leaders. In coordination with the Government, participate in selected program reviews and working groups on current and future Cyberspace/EMSO/IA programs and provide written reports regarding research and resource analysis recommendations in response to program reviews. Assist as a coordinator for the staffing and review of Service IA publications. Provide input for meetings attended, support the development of the meeting minutes to the Government in the form of a written EXSUM 24-hour post meeting. In addition, submit a monthly telework agreement which is compliant with known and anticipated HQDA G-3/5/7 and DAMO-SOI requirements. Create and maintain a Continuity Book for this position that is easily accessible to the other staff in the office area. Update the Continuity Book monthly.
