About The Position

The Operations Scheduling Manager is a pivotal role at the heart of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that production schedules are optimized for efficiency and aligned with company goals. This individual will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to capacity planning, work center management, and order prioritization, playing a key role in driving productivity and meeting customer demands.

Requirements

  • Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP ERP Central Component, Manufacturing Execution System, and Team Center PLM.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in capacity planning within manufacturing or production environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software/ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Centralize and enhance capacity planning efforts to strategically allocate resources, prevent bottlenecks, and optimize equipment and labor utilization.
  • Develop comprehensive production schedules based on customer demand, resource availability, and operational priorities.
  • Balance workloads across work centers to maintain optimal productivity levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and timely shipping.
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to unforeseen changes.
  • Analyze data and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive decision-making.
  • Lead and develop the scheduling team, providing training and mentorship.
  • Resolve capacity and scheduling conflicts through negotiation and creative problem-solving.
  • Optimize the use of scheduling software and ERP systems for efficient operations.
  • Scale operations to meet increasing production demands and implement continuous improvements using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
