Operations Safety Specialist
About The Position
Minimum Education High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science, or related field preferred. Minimum Experience Six (6) months experience required in instructor-led training, field operations or related area. Experience working in a Safety focused leadership role preferred. Knowledge Skills and Abilities ASSP, NSC, OSHA Training Institute, or Accredited College Certification preferred. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Six (6) months experience required in instructor-led training, field operations or related area
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team.
- Ability to build effective relationships built on trust, respect and collaboration.
- Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
- Ability to develop effective methods for data analysis and interpret results.
- Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.
- Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
