We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Operations Safety Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety programs and initiatives across our operations. Requirements

High School or equivalent preferred but not required.
A minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one (1) employer within the past 1 year.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a poultry distribution/processing/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions Overseeing Lockout- Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead safety training sessions for employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
Interview associates on knowledge of safety programs and ensure appropriate training is provided.
Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and monitor progress toward achieving them.
Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.
Serve as a resource for safety-related inquiries and provide guidance to team members on best practices.
Promote continuous improvement of safety programs and initiatives across all operational areas.
