The Operations Rotational Development Program (ORDP) at Genentech is a comprehensive rotational leadership development initiative designed for recent graduates. This program aims to cultivate top talent who have graduated within the last two years with either a bachelor's or master's degree, preparing them for impactful roles within Roche/Genentech's Pharma Technical Operations (PT). The Hillsboro Analyst role specifically offers emerging professionals the chance to gain extensive exposure to essential PT functions that are vital for the manufacturing of Genentech/Roche products. During the first year, ORDP Analysts will split their time between Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) and Hillsboro Innovative Therapies (HIT). Depending on business needs and personal interests, analysts may also have the opportunity to rotate through various other PT business areas, including Internal Manufacturing, Cell & Gene Therapy, Technical Development, Operational Excellence & Digital, Quality, Technical Regulatory, Supply Chain, Global MSAT & Engineering, and Strategy. Each rotational project is designed to address specific business needs within PT, ensuring that analysts engage in challenging and meaningful assignments that foster both technical and leadership skills. The training and development framework for ORDP Analysts encompasses 3-5 six-month rotational assignments within PT, with 3-4 of these based in Hillsboro, Oregon. Analysts will benefit from formal internal and external training sessions, presentation opportunities at the conclusion of each rotation, and informal learning experiences such as the ORDP Forum and networking events. Additionally, each analyst will receive guidance from a rotation manager and participate in a Mentor and Reverse Mentoring Program, which will enhance their learning and professional growth. The program is structured to not only develop project management and technical expertise but also to support world-class manufacturing processes that significantly enhance business productivity and profitability. Analysts will be tasked with individual and team projects, collaborating closely with their assigned departments. As full-time employees during their rotations, ORDP analysts are eligible for Genentech's standard vacation and benefits package, and they will have the opportunity to apply for open positions at Genentech during their fourth rotational assignment to further their career aspirations.
