The Operations Rotational Development Program (ORDP) is a unique rotational leadership development initiative designed to cultivate top talent who have recently graduated from university with either a bachelor's or master's degree. This program prepares participants for impactful contributions within Roche/Genentech's Pharma Technical Operations (PT). The South San Francisco (SSF) Analyst program offers emerging professionals the chance to gain a comprehensive understanding of the core PT functions that are essential for the manufacturing of Genentech/Roche products. Analysts in the SSF ORDP can rotate through various business areas within PT, including Internal Manufacturing, Cell & Gene Therapy, Technical Development, Operational Excellence & Digital, Quality, Technical Regulatory, Supply Chain, Global MSAT & Engineering, and Strategy. The rotational projects are strategically aligned to address specific business needs across PT, ensuring that participants engage in challenging and meaningful assignments. The program emphasizes training in both technical and leadership skills, complemented by coaching from rotation managers and mentors. Analysts will undergo 3-5 six-month rotational assignments within PT, with 3-5 of these based in South San Francisco. The training and development framework includes formal internal and external training sessions, opportunities for presentations at the conclusion of each rotation, and informal learning experiences such as the ORDP Forum, Buddy Program participation, and networking events. Additionally, analysts will receive coaching through a Mentor and Reverse Mentoring Program, along with stretch opportunities to enhance their professional growth. The ORDP is structured to provide analysts with the skills necessary for project management and technical expertise, enabling them to support world-class manufacturing processes that significantly enhance business productivity and profitability. Analysts will be tasked with projects both individually and as part of a team, performing various activities as members of their assigned departments. Each analyst will collaborate closely with a rotation manager, who will guide them through the daily operations of their department. Rotations are designed based on PT's strategic objectives, specific departmental needs, and the interests of the ORDP analysts. Opportunities for rotations are available at the South San Francisco, Oceanside, and Hillsboro, Oregon facilities. Throughout their rotational assignments, ORDP analysts are considered full-time employees of their assigned departments and are eligible for Genentech's standard vacation and benefits package. During their fourth rotational assignment, analysts will have the opportunity to apply for open positions at Genentech to further their career aspirations.
