About The Position

Design and develop mathematical models to solve real-world optimization problems in manufacturing where available time to results is constrained. Implement and solve models using commercial solvers like Gurobi, Hexaly, CPLEX. or open-source alternatives. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate optimization solutions into production systems. Analyze large datasets to extract insights and validate model assumptions. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in operations research and optimization technologies Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment and precedents Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Leads projects Excellent written and oral communication skills Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations Works to build consensus Someone who has the drive and passion to learn quickly, pays attention to details, has the ability to multi-task and switch contexts based on business needs.
