The Operations Research Analyst is responsible for building data for service operations by collecting and organizing information from various sources, including ERP systems, portal databases, sales histories, and feedback from business groups. The analyst must understand the strategic direction of the business development team and organize information by targeted industry segments. The role involves analyzing collected operational data to identify problems in existing business activities and conducting statistical analyses for cost management, project budgeting, and operational performance. The analyst will collaborate with decision-makers on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), commodity strategy, supply chain metrics, logistics, and inventory management. In addition to data collection and analysis, the Operations Research Analyst will deliver internal monthly operational reports. This includes periodic meetings with sales members to track ongoing international business progress, studying competitive proposals to maximize profit and effectiveness, and preparing analytical reports for local and international business operations. The analyst will convert complex data into understandable formats, such as tables and graphs, and provide recommendations for improving obsolete processes, managing inventory levels, forecasting errors, and optimizing inventory to meet customer demand fluctuations. The role also involves generating post-sales service operations analysis by monitoring customer and industry movements, representing the voice of the customer through research, and analyzing market size and sales trends. The analyst will prepare reports for management that define problems, evaluate options, and propose solutions, while collaborating with various departments to ensure the implementation of marketing and business plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
