About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Operations Recertification Coordinator is responsible for initial rental calculations, and annual recertifications for the Scattered Site Supportive Housing tenants, in addition to setting up initial qualification and certification of income for units turning over. Recertification Specialists assist with daily operations of the accounts receivable sector of the Scatter Site portfolio and support the Operations Department with anything needed to ensure leasing compliance so the tenants can remain stably housed. The Operations Recertification Coordinator will be responsible for tracking all annual recertification dates, apartment conditions in preparation for client occupancy, subleasing, and maintaining the database for tenant ledgers. Staff must be self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced, quality driven, training driven office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience working with property management.
  • 1-2 years of clerical/administrative experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; computer proficiency; excellent writing and verbal skills.
  • Detail oriented and the ability to operate on a deadline driven schedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with client/tenants of different races, ethnicities, ages, and sexual orientations in a multicultural environment, as well as ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Bilingual - (Spanish/English), preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process initial, annual, and interim recertifications for the Scattered Site Tenants.
  • Identifying households with income reporting discrepancies and adjustments.
  • Ensures that program operations run smoothly, working collaboratively with all the programs, and maintaining a positive environment. Providing a wide range of administrative duties to the Sr. Operations Manager.
  • Maintain all Tenant subleases for all scattered site programs.
  • Draft/ Send out lease violations to tenants (as needed).
  • Track rental payments and arrears.
  • Maintain accounts receivable files and administrative records.
  • Provides necessary reports, records, and statistics as by the program.
  • Maintains the mail delivery system.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
