What You Will Do The Quality Engineer will work with designs and specifications, determine quality flow downs on a wide variety of precision and complex in-process and finished machined parts, highly complex components, cables, castings, forgings, circuit cards, fabricated sheet metal parts, and hardware that is produced in-house and/or supplied by vendors both pre and post award. The Quality Engineer will interface with our Defense Contractor Management Agency customer to perform product sell-offs. Ensure that projects and process control documents are compliant with requirements, objectives and contracts. Verification of materials and processes and verification of certifications from sub-tier vendors. Completion of all applicable paperwork (working to AS9100 standards). Performance of various other quality functions as required to ensure the timely delivery of product to the customer. Assist with root cause analysis and recommend corrective action(s). Perform escape management procedures. Perform Audits of vendors at their locations to applicable technical data packages and industry standards Develop strong working relationships with the touch labor, factory leadership, program leadership, and DCMA
