About The Position

The Operations Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple complex business line projects from inception to completion. This role involves providing direction to Operations Analysts, collaborating with various stakeholders, and resolving any obstacles that may arise during project execution. The position emphasizes coaching, development, and ensuring that project timelines and key performance indicators are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, information technology, accounting, finance, marketing, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex projects and programs, including resource management and project management life cycle processes.
• Formal project management training (PMI or equivalent); PMP certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of project management technologies, tools, and integration methodologies.
• People management experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop direct reports.
• Oversee key performance indicators and ensure project timelines are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
• Develop and execute project plans aligned with the company's vision.
• Manage a portfolio of complex business line and cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Provide direction and oversight to Operations Analysts in managing projects and process optimization initiatives.
• Assist in managing operational production projects such as End of Year processing and Core provider updates.
• Manage vendor deliveries, including routine code upgrades and testing.
