About The Position

The position involves processing incoming materials to produce biofuel pellets, which serve as a substitute for coal. The role requires the operation and maintenance of various manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in the production process.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• 2 years of experience driving a forklift and spotting truck preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.
• Proficiency in operating a Windows-based computer and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming materials to produce biofuel pellets.
• Operate pellet manufacturing equipment including shredders, conveyors, pellet mills, loaders, and forklifts.
• Ensure the safe operation of the company's equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance on the company's equipment.
• Prepare production reports using Windows-based computer systems.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Start machines or equipment to initiate production processes.
• Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators.
• Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist production workers by supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Clean and lubricate equipment as necessary.
• Prepare raw materials for processing.
• Perform minor repairs to machines, such as replacing damaged or worn parts.
• Wash work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, or products.
