The position involves ensuring that process equipment is safely monitored, maintained, and operated to efficiently meet the requirements stated in the Daily Operating Instructions, Key Operating Parameters, and Standard Operating Procedures. The role requires mentoring and developing operators as needed, maintaining high-quality relationships with landowners and contractors, and acting as a liaison between operations, field operations, and maintenance. The individual must ensure regulatory compliance by coordinating closely with HS&E and permitting agencies, and must be self-motivated with strong ethics, able to work with minimum supervision while maintaining reliable attendance and demonstrating flexible and cooperative behavior in the workplace. Safety and housekeeping standards must be adhered to plant-wide, and the individual will evaluate process variables, sample results, and equipment diagnostic information to identify and initiate changes or corrections to maintain safety, efficiency, and optimum control of the unit and equipment.
