About The Position

Leads the development and implementation of Supply Chain Materials Distribution Operations (MDO) performance improvement projects from inception to closeout. Provide operational support to Supply Chain, MDO DC and Field Services workgroups by managing MDO PMO Support mailbox requests from inception to closeout. Utilizes project management tools and methodologies to manage, technical, operational, and enterprise level projects and programs. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the PG&E office determined based on business needs or company requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Supply Chain job-related experience, 6 years

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP ECC / SAP EWM
  • Advanced knowledge of projects and requirements from materials distribution operations (MDO) functional areas including distribution center and field services workflows
  • Knowledge of project management, process improvement best practices, concepts, methods, and techniques
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Use best practices, analysis, market intelligence, governance, and research to improve performance and efficiency of Materials Distribution and Operations.
  • Facilitate resolution of daily issues involving various Supply Chain organizations (Distribution Centers / Field Services / Planning / etc.)
  • Engage IT partners to manage ticket prioritization, define business requirements, and complete user-acceptance testing for SAP enhancements
  • Define project scope and objectives; establish project team with agreed upon roles and responsibilities; obtain commitment on detailed work plans including schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans; obtain management approval as needed; ensure project documentation is maintained; identify, analyze, and address project performance issues; communicate project status to all stakeholders; assess project risk and develop contingency plans; and identify and communicate lessons learned and best practices.
  • Communicates and presents program and project updates.
  • Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions.
  • Leads moderate to complex performance improvement projects.
  • Participates in negotiations; assists in development of plans to take advantage of business opportunities.
  • Projects require extensive knowledge of incident command structure (ICS), EOC, OEC, MTCC roles and responsibilities.
  • Support EOC, MTCC Logistics and emergency response activities including oversight, reporting, and various roles within EOC Logistics section and MTCC section as needed.
