About The Position

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Operations Monitoring & Reporting Operator within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Operations Monitoring & Reporting Operator continuously oversees systems using real-time data and alerts to detect and respond to operational issues, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, maintaining detailed logs, responding to alarms, coordinating with teams, performing routine checks, and generating reports for management. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as familiarity with monitoring tools and operational procedures. This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with monitoring tools, system alerts, and relevant operational software.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, collaborating with teams, and coordinating responses.
  • Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurately documenting operations, maintaining logs, and detecting subtle deviations or issues.
  • Familiarity with Procedures: Knowledge of operational procedures, emergency protocols, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Oversee equipment and systems, ensuring they operate within established standards using monitoring tools and real-time data.
  • Incident Response: Promptly respond to alarms and alerts by taking action to mitigate risks, prevent disruptions, and restore service.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze operational data, identify deviations and anomalies, and document incidents and system status to generate detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Maintenance & Checks: Conduct routine inspections, checks, and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities, share information, and ensure seamless operations.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Follow established control procedures to regulate and adjust equipment settings and parameters, and adhere to safety protocols.
