About The Position

Family Best Care Operations Manager Who We’re Looking For: We need a driven leader to manage and develop a team of six operations and scheduling staff, ensuring they meet performance expectations and drive business results. This person will be responsible for training, coaching, and developing the team, refining scheduling processes, and continuously improving operations. They will collaborate with the COO on business needs and strategic initiatives, always looking for ways to enhance efficiency, structure, and performance. This is a starting salary with the opportunity to prove your impact. A 90-day performance review will determine a potential salary increase based on your ability to lead, optimize operations, and drive results.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an operations, leadership, or management role (home care, healthcare, or service industry preferred).
  • Experience leading, training, and coaching teams to meet performance expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in SOP creation, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze data and KPIs to drive performance and accountability.
  • Strong initiative and ability to take ownership of operations.
  • Comfortable using scheduling software and operational platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, coach, and develop a team of six operations/scheduling staff.
  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for results.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, coaching conversations, and skill development initiatives.
  • Ensure the team understands processes, expectations, and performance goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and accountability.
  • Draft, implement, and maintain SOPs for scheduling, caregiver performance management, and operations.
  • Define and refine processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and scale operations.
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies and proactively implement solutions for improvement.
  • Leverage data and reporting to track progress and optimize workflows.
  • Collaborate with the COO to develop and execute operational strategies.
  • Monitor and improve caregiver attendance, reliability, and overall performance.
  • Use data-driven insights to develop and implement performance improvement plans.
  • Conduct regular caregiver coaching and engagement initiatives to improve retention.
  • Ensure efficient caregiver scheduling to maximize client satisfaction and business efficiency.
  • Oversee daily scheduling and staffing to meet operational demands.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling challenges before they impact client service.
  • Analyze KPIs and performance trends to optimize team productivity.
  • Continuously refine and improve scheduling processes.
