About The Position

The Texas Facilities Execution Lead is a high-trust execution role accountable forday-to-day delivery control across Celestica Texas facilities programs, withprimary hubs in Richardson and Fort Worth. The role owns the site executionsystem, interface with GC(s) and key vendors on safety, schedule, scope, costtracking, quality, change management and readiness/turnover. Work requiresoperating under ambiguity, establishing disciplined operating cadence(daily/weekly), escalating early with options and recommendations, andproviding executive-ready reporting. Erroneous decisions or delayed escalationcan have significant impact to safety, schedule, cost and customer commitments.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of construction delivery execution (GC operations, tradecoordination, RFIs/submittals/change controls, punch/closeout).
  • Demonstrated ability to run look-ahead planning, enforce commitments, anddrive schedule recovery.
  • Strong vendor control mindset (RFP participation/contractor selection support asneeded, performance tracking, escalation discipline)
  • Commissioning/turnover readiness experience in compliance-heavyenvironments (EHS focus).
  • Effective communication: concise, structured updates, escalates early withoptions and recommendations.
  • High ownership, comfortable operating independently on site and driving resultsthrough partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management across internal functions and external partners.
  • Typically 7+ years of experience in construction delivery/owner’s rep/GC projectmanagement on industrial or similar builds (manufacturing, warehouses,mission-critical or comparable complexity)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, orconsideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the site execution system: daily pulse, weekly look-ahead planning,action burn-down and risk/issue log management.
  • Serves as Celestica interface to GC(s) and major trade partners for safety,schedule, scope, cost tracking, quality and change orders.
  • Maintains the integrated schedule: critical path, slippages, next steps,root causes and required decisions/escalations.
  • Drive change management discipline: identification, documentation,impact framing and escalation for approval per governance.
  • Drives readiness/handover gates: commissioning readiness, punch listdiscipline, documentation/closeout.
  • Produces weekly executive reporting in a concise format includingschedule status, risks/mitigations, decisions needed, cost trackingcontrol, changer orders, key constraints.
  • Coordinates with site stakeholders (Facilities, EHS, Operations,IT/Controls as applicable) to remove constraints and enable execution.
  • Applies safety leadership and compliance mindset, reinforce stop-workauthority and ensures execution aligns with Celestica EHS expectations.
