About The Position

FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a consistently hard working Operations Manager who is committed to reliable quality service, customer relationships, and building a rock steady team. Located at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon, Georgia. Applicants must have a background in supervisory roles or management, be willing to perform very physical work, and have open schedule availability. The role is responsible for delivering reliable quality service to our customers (60% cleaning work / 40% office work). This means leading jobs daily to successful sign-off and FoxTrot standards.

Requirements

  • Background in supervisory roles or management
  • Willing to perform very physical work
  • Have open schedule availability
  • Lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and twisting
  • Working with a high level of detail 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Medically cleared to operate heavy machinery and perform all physical work
  • The candidate needs to be excellent at communication and available by a cell phone.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work, due to frequent changes in the client schedule
  • Pass a basic background check
  • Passing a drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Lead aircraft CIC removal in cramped spaces while wearing bulky PPE
  • Operate buffing machines, carpet cleaning machines, ladders, and lifts
  • Complete checklists after every job to ensure quality control
  • Organize the right-size team for cleaning aircraft of all shapes and sizes
  • Ensure safety standards are upheld at all times during operations
  • Manage inventory and place orders through the Logistics Manager
  • Manage labor to align with customer demand and operational budget
  • Track location revenue and partner with leadership to meet profitability targets
  • Monitor and take ownership of site-level P&L performance
  • Personally connect with all customers daily to confirm aircraft scheduling needs
  • Ensure the team has sufficient hours to meet set performance and financial goals
  • Sell additional services to clients as needed, in coordination with the Program Manager
  • Proactively communicate challenges and successes to leadership, with a focus on solutions
  • Maintain positive, daily communication with the team
  • Set elevation goals (development plans) for each team member with leadership support
  • Train team members in quality work, checklist use, and safety protocols
  • Partner with the back office to post job ads, conduct interviews, and hire candidates who align with our five core values: GRIT, Solidarity, Client Focus, Safety, and Accountability. Coordinate with the back office to ensure timely badging and onboarding
  • Complete disciplinary documentation as needed to support team accountability
  • Complete call-off and tardy forms in real time to track attendance
  • Advocate for raises and recognition for high-performing team members
  • Support other teams and travel to other locations to strengthen our network
  • Maintain the company vehicle and ensure regular upkeep
