Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Certifications/licenses as applicable to their area of responsibility.
  • At least 3 years experience in a healthcare setting, or service industry.
  • A master’s degree in business or healthcare operations (or equivalent) may substitute for 2 years of experience.
  • At least 2 years experience in administration and supervision of staff preferred.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and decision making responsibilities.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and EHRS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise support staff, ensuring adherence to department policies and managing schedules, including PTO and leave.
  • Provide direct coverage and ongoing training for support staff, becoming an EPIC and EHRS super-user.
  • Foster a culture of feedback and collaboration to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating prospective staff members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage coaching/disciplinary actions for direct reports.
  • Track key performance indicators and collaborate with Business Intelligence to develop service line reports.
  • Coordinate management of waitlists and provider schedules to optimize patient access.
  • Monitor operational metrics across care locations and participate in monthly leadership meetings.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and oversee departmental orders and equipment.
  • Engage in the Performance Improvement Program to drive continuous service enhancement.
