About The Position
The operations manager will oversee all aspects of the mobile fuel delivery facility during the evening/night shift. This includes safety and compliance, task management and follow-up, and the completion of accurate and timely customer deliveries. The Operations Manager will provide daily communication and performance expectations for CDL Delivery Drivers. They will also work collaboratively with other departments to support customer satisfaction, increasing gallons delivered from the facility, and growth in the number of active accounts assigned to the location.

- Must be able to work the evening/night shift.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Maintain customer service focus. Can see the connection between internal operational activities and the impact on the customer experience.
- Provides Drivers with coaching and feedback and completes administrative tasks such as time card corrections, schedule swaps, and DQ file management.
- Prioritizes safety and maintains a safe working environment, including holding teams accountable to proper processes and procedures.
- Communicates with Drivers at the beginning of their shift providing necessary information related to company focuses and work processes.
- Ensures Drivers receive proper training to demonstrate mastery of required tasks and procedures.
- Participates in hiring and recruiting of new Drivers.
- Completes performance appraisals for assigned Drivers.
- Seeks opportunities to grow the business and increase the total gallons delivered during their shift.
- Partners with Human Resources to address performance and disciplinary matters.
- Ensures needed supplies are available and any issues with trucks are communicated to support the maximum number of vehicles delivering.
- Completes all necessary reporting and provides detailed recaps of any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
