What this job involves: As an Operations Manager at JLL, you will support operational activities for JLL's Variable Market Project and Development Services (PDS) teams through supporting day-to-day business operational functions including supporting people experience and onboarding, proactively reviewing and measuring business metrics to drive process improvements, efficiency gains, and drive business growth, supporting the delivery of strategic business initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the variable markets team. You'll provide strategic operational support and guidance for the PDS Variable Market teams while identifying process inefficiencies and providing feedback to the Regional Operations Lead to collaborate and develop strategies to enhance productivity, optimize operations, streamline workflows, and reduce costs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, leveraging business intelligence tools, ensuring compliance with regulations, and identifying opportunities for technology integration to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
  • 5+ years of relevant operational experience with demonstrated progression in responsibility and scope
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with executive-level internal and external clients, both in-person and remotely
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Adobe Suite, Smartsheet, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in independent decision-making with high degree of quality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Strong business acumen with ability to understand context for decisions, influence outcomes, and appropriately challenge when necessary
  • Keen attention to quality and detail with proven ability to prioritize and manage diverse business needs
  • Understanding of business operational functions and process improvement methodologies

  • Experience in project and development services or construction management operations
  • Understanding of business intelligence tools and data analytics

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic operational support and guidance for PDS Variable Market teams while identifying process inefficiencies and developing strategies to enhance productivity, optimize operations, streamline workflows, and reduce costs
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to drive data-informed decision-making, monitor operational performance, and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Operations Lead and local market business partners (HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing, IT) to ensure effective implementation of PDS business processes and initiatives
  • Support the implementation of operational strategies and initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction within the markets
  • Champion a positive and inclusive work culture, fostering employee engagement and supporting a culture of continuous learning
  • Collaborate with Regional Operations Lead and local PDS Variable Market Lead(s) to review market people survey results to identify areas of opportunity and develop initiatives to drive improvement
  • Support local PDS onboarding process ensuring Americas PDS L&D Onboarding and JLL Onboarding systems and best practices are being implemented and completed
  • Review client satisfaction dashboards and support local PDS Variable Market Lead(s) in following up with clients as appropriate
  • Conduct P&L reporting and analysis to support business decision-making while performing pipeline analysis to track business development and secured revenue
