About The Position

The Operations Manager will support the personnel for maintenance, warehouse, and aircraft oversight for the Charlotte Douglas Airport, and give direction, motivation, and guidance to the team. Shift : Monday - Friday from 6:00AM - 2:30PM EST Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 per year annual salary The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • No experience required and on the job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • Must have 2 - 5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide leadership to the team.
  • Assist with the training of new employees.
  • Oversee daily operations in assigned building.
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
  • Report work orders for maintenance.
  • Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager.
  • Complete order forms completely and accurately.
  • Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
  • Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
  • Maintain daily shift report for managers.
  • Perform basic administrative, payroll and Attendance functions (as required).
  • Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
  • Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks.
  • Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
  • Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered.
  • Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests.
  • Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Ensure that services are performed as contracted and directed by account Project Manager.
  • Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
  • Enforce the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.
  • Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings.
  • Attend ABM training workshops when scheduled.
  • Develop operational improvement plans and implements process changes within assigned buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state and local government regulations.
  • Ensure that all paperwork, including terminations is submitted to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining subordinates; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees.
