About The Position

As an Operations Manager at Diversified Automation, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of Project Managers within your assigned region (West, Central, East). You will report directly to the Vice President and play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations management, project management, and program management in the automation industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to a team of Project Managers within your region.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within your region, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Vice President and other stakeholders.
  • Manage one program of projects, overseeing the overall portfolio, resource allocation, and strategic alignment.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for escalated issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales, project, and program objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project and program performance, including key metrics, milestones, and financial status.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Use insights to make data-driven decisions and optimize project and program outcomes.
