With a dynamic presence across multiple continents, we specialize in manufacturing press-to-connect technology for HVAC/R and are at the forefront of adopting lean practices, automation technologies, and 5S principles to ensure operational excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our team and lead the operations across three shifts in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles, working closely with the Management Team to drive initiatives to the plant floor, and maintaining a workplace that adheres to 5S standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with lean manufacturing, automation technologies, and 5S principles.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment; No special requirements or restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless production across three shifts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of Kaizen, 5 Whys, and value stream mapping.
  • Drive the adoption of cutting-edge automation technologies to enhance production capabilities and improve overall manufacturing performance.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to identify, evaluate, and implement automation solutions that align with business goals.
  • Support the Manufacturing Teams that supervise and schedule the company.
  • Offer direction and make decisions on questions relating to manufacturing.
  • Ensure that the manufacturing process operates within budget.
  • Review/recommend/approve purchase’s/AFE’s associated with the facility.
  • Monitor scrap/reject data, communicate with staff, and assist in cost control efforts.
  • Directly supervise activities of the Manufacturing Facility and provide direction to the Manufacturing Supervisors on all 3 shifts.
