Position Summary: This role will manage all aspects of the operations of a solid waste collection facility and provides support to all route members of the team in all aspects of daily operations.

Requirements

Experience in managing a fleet routing system
Waste management experience with residential or commercial collection a plus
Minimum of five years of management experience
Demonstrated success in managing a large collection operation
Experience managing a fleet of solid waste or recycling collection vehicles (commercial frontload, roll-off, tractor trailer, flatbed, etc.)
Previous experience managing DOT regulated operation
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

Waste management experience with residential or commercial collection a plus

Responsibilities

Manages P&L for internal and external sales, procurement, operations, brokerage, transportation, safety, etc.
Responsible for the maintenance of budgets
Establishes and manages long term-goals that adhere with Company goals and standards
Manages all relationships with business representatives from commercial and industrial accounts, municipalities, retail, distribution centers and other areas
Assist in negotiating business terms directly with large waste generators, waste haulers, brokers, etc.
Establish, implement, and manage a strong safety culture amongst all employees
Manage the transportation and logistics functions for collection route operations
