About The Position

GSF Properties Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing capital projects and day-to-day operational functions while partnering closely with the Community Manager to ensure efficient, high-quality property operations.

The pay range for this position is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in property management
• Proven ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including off-site or external projects
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, solution-oriented approach
• Quick learner with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective note-taking abilities
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and manage a team while fostering a positive work environment
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with the Community Manager to achieve operational goals

Responsibilities

• Manage capital and operational projects from planning through completion
• Review bids, coordinate vendors, and oversee project timelines and performance
• Supervise maintenance and grounds teams, including scheduling and work quality
• Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and property improvements
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and approve purchases
• Order materials and services to support property operations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulations
• Address operational issues promptly and effectively
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Collaborate closely with the Community Manager and Supervisor
