The Senior Operations Manager must ensure the highest level of professionalism while meeting clients' needs and maintaining a commitment to achieving 100% uptime throughout the engineering team. You'll be responsible for protecting and improving the value of client assets, ensuring building engineering systems continue to perform their intended function, and implementing reliability-based maintenance functions that continuously enhance value-maximizing performance across regional facilities. What your day-to-day will look like:

Requirements

  • 10+ years facility-related work experience including customer service and supervisory experience
  • Managerial experience with engineering teams and Operations Managers
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes and construction planning
  • Exposure to HVAC, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems operation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Universal Technician for CFC's certification (or within 90 days of employment)
  • Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent
  • Experience with safety training program implementation
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience with reliability-based maintenance functions
  • Background in critical facility operations

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, pumps, and electrical equipment operations
  • Oversee repair and preventive maintenance of building systems and determine maintenance frequencies
  • Supervise and manage engineers, maintenance staff, and Operations Managers including hiring, training, and development
  • Provide oversight of regional maintenance programs and ensure consistency across facilities
  • Ensure adequate inventory of tools and supplies through purchase order management
  • Oversee contractor activities within the building and ensure CFWA process compliance
  • Identify safety hazards and implement remediation to ensure safe work environments
