Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and streamline the end-to-end rental process to minimize wait times and deliver fast, friendly, and efficient service that enhances the overall customer experience
  • Make informed, real-time decisions that balance customer satisfaction with company profitability and operational goals
  • Maintain a clean, well-managed, and diverse fleet, ensuring vehicle availability aligns with customer demand, including specialty vehicles
  • Lead daily operations by anticipating needs, improving workflows, and proactively addressing challenges before they impact performance
  • Forecast operational needs, including staffing and fleet requirements, using historical data and market trends to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Manage and prioritize complex task lists with strong follow-through, ensuring all operational responsibilities are completed accurately and on time
  • Monitor team productivity and performance, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and maintain a motivated, accountable, and supportive work environment
  • Identify operational slowdowns across departments and implement solutions to improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks
  • Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of team members to build a strong and capable team
  • Monitor key performance metrics, ensure goals are met, and adjust strategies as needed to drive results
  • Develop and enhance cross-training programs to build a flexible, high-performing team capable of supporting multiple functions
  • Coach and support rental agents in meeting sales goals and revenue targets through hands-on leadership and guidance
  • Generate, analyze, and present detailed KPI reports using Excel to support data-driven decision-making
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to contribute ideas and continuously improve operations
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support overall business objectives
  • Use data and operational insights to forecast staffing levels and fleet needs
  • Continuously evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across operations
  • Anticipate unexpected demand and develop contingency plans to maintain smooth performance
  • Simplify processes to reduce complexity, improve productivity, and eliminate bottlenecks
