About The Position

Advanced Compressor Technology (ACT), a member of the Burckhardt Compression Group, is growing—and we’re looking for a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our regional operations and ensure excellence across every step of our service delivery. As our Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations, qualify new business opportunities, and lead the operational execution of proposals, bookings, and contracts. You will guide a diverse team across engineering, shop, field, sales, and administrative functions—ensuring they are empowered, supported, and set up for success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations, service, field, or project management.
• Experience in industrial sectors such as Manufacturing, Refining, or Petrochemical preferred.
• Valid work permit and fluency in English is a must.

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory experience and P&L responsibility is a plus.
• PMI certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and implement processes that improve productivity, quality, and compliance with ACT’s QMS.
• Manage and develop regional teams, including engineering, shop, field, sales, and administrative staff; oversee subcontractors.
• Drive customer satisfaction by serving as the main operational contact, ensuring service quality, and addressing feedback proactively.
• Oversee contract execution, aligning estimated vs. actual costs, scheduling labor/materials, and ensuring accurate invoicing and reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, maintain job cost documentation, and prepare operational performance reports for leadership.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with logistics, sales, and customer service to ensure smooth project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all operational activities.
