About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role involves managing staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high standards of service and productivity across various departments. The Operations Manager provides operational support to senior management, assisting with budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning. Coordination with different departments to streamline processes and drive business growth is essential, along with fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Leadership and expertise are crucial in achieving the organization's goals and contributing to its overall success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in management or sales; or 3-5 years industry related management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Knowledge of word processing software and internet software.
  • Actively investigates and recommends new cutting-edge technology.
  • Clear background check within company and customer requirements.
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Bending, stooping, ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations to meet net profit performance against annual budget.
  • Manage productivity in order to meet established location KPIs.
  • Manage all personnel activities, including hiring, training, retention, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform administrative functions for operations.
  • Identify customer needs, provide solutions, and recommend improved products.
  • Maintain relationships with key customer accounts through regular interactions.
  • Analyze pricing and delivery dates, locate products, create purchase orders, and ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Grow profitable market share by presenting value-added services and add-ons.
  • Promote excellent customer service across all departments.
  • Ensure safe practices and environments in offices and adherence to all policies by staff.
  • Assist in budget development with corporate administration.
  • Complete performance evaluations of each staff member twice per year.
  • Continually develop accounts portfolio and explore new markets to penetrate.
  • Support corporate initiatives and programs.
  • Develop intra-departmental communications/coordination and resource allocation.
  • Maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles in accordance with company standards.
