About The Position

ComSonics is hiring an Operations Manager to lead our Repair Services operation in Greenwood, Indiana . This role is responsible for overseeing a team of 30 that receives, repairs, and ships electronic equipment to customers accurately and on time. Reporting directly to the Vice President – Products and Services, this position has full ownership of day‑to-day operations, team leadership, and financial performance. The Operations Manager leads repair operations and sets expectations for quality, turnaround time, and productivity. This role is responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing employees, managing schedules and workload, and ensuring the team has the tools, training, and processes needed to perform at a high level. Continuous improvement of workflow, efficiency, and accountability is essential. Financial responsibility includes managing the operating budget, controlling costs, and overseeing P&L performance. Key operational metrics are tracked and reported to leadership, with data used to drive decisions and improvements. The role also ensures compliance with the ISO 9001 quality management system and partners closely with customer service and sales to support expedite requests, equipment status updates, and shipment timelines. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field or at least five years of related operations or leadership experience, with equivalent combinations considered. Experience leading teams in a hands‑on repair, service, or technical operations environment is strongly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable managing priorities, solving operational problems, and communicating clearly. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience using an ERP system are required, along with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. The position is onsite in Greenwood and involves a mix of office and repair‑shop activity, including moving throughout the repair operation, communicating with team members, and occasional physical activity.
