About The Position

The Operations Manager's main priorities are to assist Matadors management with warehouse operations which includes inventory management, fleet management, warehouse management, and day-to-day operations geared towards operational excellence.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in the Consumer Package Goods warehouse or inventory operations (wholesale consumer products preferred)
• Strong mathematical and logistics operations skills
• Strong leaderships skills to provide mentoring, training, or corrective feedback
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
• An understanding of computer ordering systems and other IT systems
• Must be at least 21 years old
• DOT medical card required

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs the entire Operations Division, as well as Ops Meetings.
• Directs the hiring and training of all new employees in the Ops Department of Matador Distributing accurately.
• Directs the maintenance of all Operations file systems
• Analyzes sales and volume trends & designs programs to ensure maximum execution, highest sales and profits for Matador Distributing, LLC.
• Manages all tracking and executional updates required by JECO in a timely fashion.
• Maintains timely and effective communications with the General Manager and the DOS/KAM regarding all resources needed to Win At Retail including Product/POS inventory levels and Fleet conditions.
• Maintains timely and effective communication with the Office Manager and JECO Corp. office on all HR and resource topics
• Directs hiring, training and development.
• Maintains a positive image for Matador Distributing and RBNA both personally and professionally.
• Provides data to the General Manager and JECO for establishing the annual budget and forecast.
• Ensures Performance Reviews are completed for all Ops personnel (minimum yearly with ongoing performance discussions throughout the course of route ride with managers, subordinates) as well as quarterly stack ranking of personnel.
• Exercises Matador Distributings policies and procedures in accordance with the above responsibilities.
• Performs all other related duties/projects/reports as assigned by the Director of Operations.
